Reception Teaching Assistant – Canton, Cardiff
£89.38 per day | Through Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a caring and enthusiastic Reception Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming primary school in the Canton area of Cardiff.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to support pupils at the very start of their learning journey.
Location: Canton, Cardiff
Pay: £89.38 per day
Start: ASAP / upcoming term
Role: Full-time or part-time considered
The Role:

Supporting pupils within a Reception classroom
-
Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging activities
-
Providing 1:1 and small group support where needed
-
Helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment

Assisting with daily routines and transitions
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-
Have experience working with young children (school or nursery based)
-
Be patient, caring, and proactive
-
Have strong communication skills
-
Be reliable and adaptable
-
Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
