Reception Teaching Assistant | Full Time | Bedminster| Immediate Start

Are you a passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding full time Reception role in a welcoming Bedminster school? This position is available to start as soon as possible.

We are partnering with a warm and inclusive primary school in Bedminster that is looking for a dedicated Reception Teaching Assistant to join their friendly team. You will work alongside an experienced EYFS lead and class teachers, helping to deliver engaging, play-based learning that puts children at the heart of everything. This is a school that truly values its staff and offers a supportive, nurturing environment where you can thrive.

The Role:

• Support the Reception class alongside the EYFS lead and class teachers
• Help deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
• Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment that supports all learners
• Assist with observations and informal assessments to support the class teacher
• Help maintain calm, purposeful routines and effective behaviour strategies
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, staff, parents and carers
• Contribute to the wider life of this friendly, community-focused school

What We Are Looking For

• Experience working in Early Years or Reception settings
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
• Confident in supporting classroom routines and behaviour management
• Warm, patient and nurturing approach with strong communication skills
• A flexible, collaborative team player who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
