Reception Teacher

Location: Shirehampton

Contract: Full Time

A primary school in the BS11 area is seeking an experienced and committed Reception Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Early Years pupils and delivering high‑quality teaching in line with the EYFS framework.

Teaching Personnel provides access to exclusive roles, ongoing professional development, and tailored support throughout your placement.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching within Early Years, specifically Reception
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN or EAL is advantageous
  • Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)

Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Plan and deliver effective lessons that meet EYFS standards
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • Establish and maintain clear routines and positive behaviour management
  • Differentiate activities to meet individual learning needs
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals
  • Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and school policies at all times

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
