Role: Reception Teacher

Location: Yeovil

Salary: GB125 - GBP175 per day

Start Date: September 2020 

A Reception Teacher is required for a 2-form entry School that was recently rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted officials. The Primary school based in Yeovil and welcomes students of all backgrounds and abilities. Placing the importance of every student as an individual. The Head Teacher works diligently with parents and families and there dedicated SENCO whose sense of duty is to makes sure those who require assistance receive specialist attention in order to reach their true potentials. They are recruiting for a passionate, hard-working and enthusiastic teacher who can attend the needs and learning of their students. Reception Teacher to start September 2020 term unless required starting earlier, however this can be subject to discussion. Please find further details below:

Requirements for the vacancies:

  • Recognised teaching qualification PGCE / QTS (or the equivalent)
  • Relevant Key Stage teaching experience
  • High expectations for all students and the determination to help all children succeed
  • The ability to work effectively in a team of teachers, support staff and outside agencies
  • DBS on the update service or be willing to get one
  • Practices to develop and encourage pupil's interests and knowledge
