We are seeking an enthusiastic, nurturing, and dedicated Reception Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bishop Auckland from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Early Years practitioner who is committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.

The Role

• Full-time Reception class teacher
• Planning and delivering creative, stimulating EYFS lessons
• Supporting children’s academic, social, and emotional development
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment
• Working closely with parents, staff, and the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching within EYFS
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
• Be passionate about early childhood education
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
