A welcoming and supportive primary school in Bedford is looking to appoint a passionate Reception Teacher to join their team ASAP. You will be responsible for delivering engaging learning experiences and supporting children's development throughout the Early Years Foundation Stage.
The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where children are encouraged to learn through play, exploration, and positive relationships.
Your Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging Reception lessons and activities
• Support children's development in line with the EYFS framework
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom
• Monitor and assess children's progress
• Encourage confidence, independence, and communication
• Work closely with teaching assistants and the wider school team
Essential Job Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Reception or Early Years teaching experience is desirable
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Caring, enthusiastic, and patient approach
• Strong communication and classroom management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
