About the Role

As a Reception Teacher, you will play a key role in giving children the very best start to their education.

You will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging, creative and age-appropriate EYFS lessons.

• Creating a stimulating and nurturing classroom environment.

• Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development.

• Developing early literacy, phonics and numeracy skills.

• Building strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

• Monitoring children's progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs.

• Working collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team.

• Promoting high expectations for behaviour, learning and personal development.

• Ensuring every child feels valued, supported and excited about learning.

The Ideal Candidate

I am keen to hear from teachers who:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Have experience teaching within EYFS/Reception, or strong primary teaching experience with relevant EYFS knowledge.

• Have a genuine passion for working with young children.

• Can create an engaging, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

• Have strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Are committed to safeguarding and children's welfare.

• Are enthusiastic, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
