Contract Type: Full-Time
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Dudley. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and help them develop a deeper understanding of religion, ethics, philosophy and the diverse world around them.

The successful candidate will join a supportive and collaborative department committed to delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 where appropriate.

The Role

As an RE Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons.
  • Inspire students to think critically about religious, moral and philosophical issues.
  • Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and department.
  • Uphold high expectations for behaviour, achievement and attendance.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching RE at secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for all students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and student success.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
