Job description

We are currently working with a number of welcoming and well-regarded secondary schools across Oldham who are seeking passionate and committed Religious Education Teachers for both full-time and part-time positions. These opportunities are available on a temporary, long-term, and permanent basis, offering flexibility to suit your career goals and lifestyle. In these roles, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with some opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on the school. You will be confident in planning and delivering high-quality lessons that inspire students to think critically about religion, ethics, and the wider world. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils of all abilities are essential, as is a genuine passion for your subject.

To be considered for these RE Teacher roles in Oldham, you should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. You must have a solid understanding of the UK secondary curriculum and be able to adapt your teaching approach to meet the needs of different learners. A current DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one, will be required.
