Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school community in Blackpool from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to delivering high‑quality RE teaching and inspiring pupils of all abilities to engage with a diverse and thought-provoking curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured RE lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
- Support pupils’ moral, spiritual, and cultural development
- Assess, track, and report on student progress
- Contribute to curriculum development within the Humanities department
- Participate in whole‑school pastoral responsibilities and enrichment activities
- Uphold school policies, safeguarding standards, and professional expectations
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS or be on track to achieve QTS by the start date
- Have strong subject knowledge in Religious Education
- Be committed to promoting tolerance, curiosity, and critical thinking
- Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Be driven, reflective, and eager to contribute to a supportive team
- Value the importance of inclusive learning and strong pastoral care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
