**TEACHING PERSONNEL PAYS TO SCALE FOR ALL LONG-TERM CONTRACTS**

An outstanding school situated in Bartley Green, Birmingham are currently seeking a positive and passionate Media teacher to start in the new academic year (September 2023).

Within this role, you will deliver Media lessons to students aged 11-16, covering various aspects of the national curriculum. You will be expected to deliver engaging and active lessons, whilst making appropriate adjustments to suit your students.

The ideal candidate will be QTS qualified and have experience working with class sizes of up to 30 students. They will also have experience planning and organising lessons that are engaging and follow the curriculum specification.

Requirements

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Competency in a rage of media subjects.
  • Good knowledge of the media curriculum.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Teaching classes of up to 30 pupils.
  • Assess and monitor students progress across the academic year.
  • Encourage and motivate the learning of the pupils.
  • Prepare and implement lessons to a high standard.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
