A highly reputable secondary school and sixth form is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of English to join their permanent staff from January 2025 or sooner. The successful candidate will contribute to a vibrant learning environment, inspiring students to develop their skills and love for literature.

Role: Teacher of English
Age: Secondary (KS3-5)
Sixth form: Included
Contract: Permanent, Fulltime
Salary: MPS/UPS, Dependent on experience
Start: January 2025 or sooner

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in English at Key Stage 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach A-Level.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and participate in departmental initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A relevant degree in English or a related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to educational excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a secondary school setting is preferred but not essential.
