Pay rate:MPS (dependent on expereince)
About the role:
We are currently seeking a qualified Business Studies Teacher to work within one of our partner schools. We currently have two schools in the Walsall and Birmingham area looking for Business teachers to join their teams.
We are looking for someone with experience teaching Business Studies across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, who can deliver engaging lessons and support students in achieving their potential. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching are essential.
Role Responsibilites:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes student achievement and progression.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring they are equipped to achieve their full potential.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, attainment, and behaviour in line with school policies.
- Contribute to departmental planning, assessment, and curriculum development where required.
- Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies, ensuring the welfare of all students.
Role Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Business Studies across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Business education.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A current Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
- Two satisfactory professional references.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
