Job description

A school in Bolton are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Psychology Graduate to join their team to help support a child with special educational needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis. This position would require supporting a pupil with autism (ASC) and would require a good level of behaviour management as she can tend to be disruptive when in a whole class setting. Someone with a calm and nurturing yet strong personality would be ideal.

The Head Teacher is looking for a dedicated role model to work alongside the class teacher to help engage the pupil whilst also tailoring her learning to her needs and interests. If you are a Psychology Graduate who is looking to use your theory in an educational setting and discover the benefits of working with children with SEN then this could be the perfect role for you.

This is the perfect position for creative new Graduates wanting to progress their career in education and get a good understanding of the role. Previous experience working in a school is beneficial but not necessary.
