Location: Bristol
Position: SEN & SEMH Teaching Assistant
Minimum Pay Rate: £90 - £103.13 per day
Hours: Full time and long term

Starte date: ASAP & September Start

Requirements:

A degree in Psychology or a related field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to build rapport with students and staff

Prior experience in education or support roles (preferred but not essential)

Dedication to promoting inclusivity and well-being

Enhanced DBS check (we’ll help you obtain this)

Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

Help implement personalized learning plans

Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Assist students in developing social skills and emotional resilience

Work alongside teachers and staff to monitor student progress

Encourage and motivate students to reach their potential

Participate in training and professional development opportunities

To Be Eligible for This Role Through Teaching Personnel, You Must:

Hold the right to work in the UK.

Have an enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the update service or be willing to apply for one.

Provide two professional references covering the last two years. (24 months) 

Must be over the age of 18.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
