Psychology Graduate – Learning Support Assistant

Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Special School, Birmingham
Specializations: Autism, Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Learning Difficulties
About the Role:
We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for Psychology Graduates to join a special school in Birmingham that focuses on Autism, Social Emotional and Mental Health, and Learning Difficulties. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing the lives of students, helping them on their path to independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young adults with educational, social, and sensory/additional needs.
- Work one-on-one and in small groups to make learning engaging and accessible.
- Learn and apply different teaching styles across various age groups and key stages, including Early Years, Primary, Secondary, and Post-16.
Ideal Candidates:
We are seeking graduates with degrees in:
- Psychology
- Criminology
- Sports Science
- Sports Coaching
- Social Work
- Educational Studies
- Youth and Community Studies
- Or any other related degree

Details:
- Salary: £400 - £450 per week
- Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

- Duration: Temp to Perm Opportunities for the right candidates
Requirements:
- Enhanced Child DBS (Willing to apply if not already held, registered on the update service)
