Full-Time Teacher Required – Life Skills / PSHE
Location: Leigh, Lancashire (WN7 area)
Client Type: Specialist SEMH Provision (New Client)
Teaching Personnel is working with a newly partnered SEMH training centre that supports pupils aged 13–21. The provision is now looking for a full-time teacher to deliver engaging and practical Life Skills and PSHE-style lessons.
Role Details:

Full-time role: Monday to Friday, 08:30–15:30

Long-term position with potential to become temp-to-perm
-
Focus on topics such as healthy living, emotional wellbeing, drugs & alcohol awareness, and independent living

Pupils are described as lovely, responsive, and benefit from consistent support
-
Support staff present in every classroom
-
Minimal planning required – resources and guidance provided
Candidate Requirements:
-
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential
-
Confident delivering Life Skills, PSHE, or similar content
-
Experience with SEMH or in alternative provisions is highly desirable
-
Calm, patient, and resilient approach to classroom management
-
Child and adult enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
