Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools in the S18 area and surrounding locations, who are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

The Role:

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning and development across EYFS, KS1, or KS2. Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
• Working with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning
• Assisting pupils with additional needs (SEND support may be required)
• Creating a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
• Supporting behaviour management and pupil wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has experience working with children in a primary school setting (preferred but not essential)
• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (desirable)
• Is patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting children’s learning
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
