Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools (S10 & Surrounding Areas)
Start: ASAP / Ongoing
Contract: Full-time or Part-time | Flexible placements available
Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistant to support a range of primary schools across the S10 postcode and nearby areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is confident working across all primary year groups, including EYFS and Reception, and who is happy to provide 1:1 SEND support when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 in both classroom and small-group settings
- Provide nurturing and proactive 1:1 assistance to pupils with SEND
- Assist class teachers with lesson preparation, behaviour support, and classroom organisation
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
The Ideal Candidate
- Confident working with children from Early Years to Year 6
- Experience or interest in supporting pupils with special educational needs
- Flexible, positive, and able to adapt to different school environments
- Reliable, committed, and passionate about helping young learners thrive
- Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable), or relevant school/childcare experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
