Flexible Primary Supply Teacher – Daily Supply Opportunities

Location: North East England
Contract: Flexible, Ad Hoc / Day-to-Day Supply
Pay: Competitive daily rates, dependent on experience

Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming primary schools throughout the North East. Whether you're looking for one day a week or a full working week, you decide when you're available. Our dedicated consultants will match you with schools that fit your schedule, giving you complete flexibility over the work you accept.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging lessons across Reception through to Year 6.
  • Provide high-quality teaching in a variety of primary school settings.
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school routines.
  • Maintain positive behaviour management and create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the school or deliver pre-prepared activities where required.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Is confident teaching across all primary year groups, from Reception to Year 6.
  • Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Is flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different school environments.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle, as travel between schools across the North East is required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
