A friendly and inclusive primary school in the BH8 area is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a maternity cover basis.
The school is flexible on year group placement and welcomes applications from teachers with experience in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys creating engaging lessons and building positive relationships within the classroom.
The successful candidate will join a supportive staff team and contribute to a nurturing learning environment where pupils are encouraged to grow academically, socially and emotionally.
What You’ll Be Doing
✔ Teaching and supporting a KS1 or KS2 class
✔ Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons
✔ Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
✔ Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
✔ Working closely with colleagues, support staff and parents
✔ Encouraging pupils’ confidence, independence and development
✔ Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
What We’re Looking For
The school is seeking someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching within a UK primary school
- Can adapt confidently to different year groups if required
- Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
- Is enthusiastic, organised and proactive
- Has a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
