Primary Teacher – September 2026 Start

Location: Plymouth & Surrounding Areas
Pay: Competitive daily rates, paid weekly

Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for a new opportunity this September?

Teaching Personnel is working with a number of welcoming primary schools across Plymouth and the surrounding areas that are seeking enthusiastic teachers for both short-term and long-term roles. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin your career, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across the primary curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and parents
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners

We Are Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A passion for helping pupils achieve their potential
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
