KS2 Primary Teacher – Full Academic Year
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, full academic year (until July 2027)
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
About the Role
We are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Stoke-on-Trent, seeking an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher to join their team from September.
This is a full-time position for the entirety of the academic year, offering an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to make a real impact in a well-resourced and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress to ensure strong attainment outcomes
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils of varying abilities, including SEND and EAL learners
- Establish strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Uphold high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Contribute to the wider school community and school life
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within KS2
- Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- A creative and engaging teaching style
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A nurturing and child-centred approach
- A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
