Teaching Personnel are working with a number of SEN Schools and Alternative Education Provisions across Somerset, that are looking for qualified Teachers to work with them.
About the role:
- You will be responsible for a class of 4-6 pupils and there will be TAs/LSAs to support you and the children
- Working with young people with special needs
- The needs of the pupils within the provisions vary from Autism and complex learning needs to challenging behaviour and SEMH needs.
- These schools support the growth and development of pupils aged between 5-19 years and are responsible for devising a personalised curriculum for each child.
- The work pattern will be Monday- Friday Time: 08:30-15:30 and there is the potential for these roles to go permanent at your favourite school!
The ideal candidate will:
- Have lots of patience, be proactive and resilient!- this role can be challenging, but it is very rewarding!
- ECT or a PCGE
- Ideally you will have experience working within an SEND/SEMH school
- A strong ability to develop relationships and rapport with both pupils and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
