Teaching Personnel are working with Primary and Middle Schools in the Wimborne area of Dorset. Teaching Personnel support these schools in the area with Teacher and Support staff recruitment, whether that be long or short-term sickness cover, as well as temp to perm opportunities. 

Are you a fully qualified Teacher who is looking for a change of pace? Less time marking and planning and more time at home?

ROLE: Supply Teacher

DURATION: Short OR Long-term

LOCATION: Wimborne

KEY STAGES: KS1-3

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Covering class Teacher by delivering pre-planned work organised by Teacher.
  • Teaching Classes from Key stage 1 to Key stage 3 in Middle Schools. 
  • Working collaboratively with support staff to ensure pupil engagement and inclusion within the classroom environment.
  • Report any Safeguarding concerns to DSL on School site. 
  • Report back any important and positive student progress for class teachers return.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate that is registered with the Update Service. (TP can assist with this where required)
  • Fully Qualified Teacher Status with QTS or equivilant. 
  • Experience working with Primary school ages and into Key Stage 3 is ideal. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of th ePRimary curriculum. 
  • Ability to comfortable travel between schools in the Weymouth and Dorchester areas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
