Full-Time & Part-Time Roles Available | September Start | EYFS, KS1 & KS2

Teaching Personnel is working with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Torquay, Paignton and Brixham who are seeking enthusiastic teachers for a range of positions. Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for a fresh challenge or an Early Career Teacher eager to gain valuable classroom experience, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

We are recruiting for:

  • Day-to-day supply teachers
  • Long-term teaching placements
  • Maternity cover roles
  • Permanent teaching positions
  • EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and parents
  • Support pupils' academic and personal development

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is due to obtain QTS
  • Has experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
  • Is adaptable, reliable and enthusiastic
  • Holds or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • ECTs encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
