Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for a flexible part-time role? We are working with a range of welcoming primary schools across Southampton that are seeking passionate teachers to join their teams from September 2026.
Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is an excellent opportunity to inspire young learners while enjoying the flexibility of part-time work. You'll play a key role in delivering engaging lessons, creating a positive learning environment, and helping every child reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment where pupils can thrive
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support pupil achievement
- Uphold safeguarding and promote the well-being of all children
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- A passion for delivering high-quality primary education
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A flexible and proactive approach to teaching
- A commitment to supporting every child's academic and personal development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
