Key Stage 2 Teacher – Flexible Opportunity (2 Days per Week, Summer Term)
Location: Southampton
Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced and adaptable Key Stage 2 Teacher to take on a flexible teaching opportunity at one of our valued partner schools for the summer term.
This role is ideal for a qualified teacher looking to maintain a strong work-life balance while continuing to make a meaningful impact in the classroom. Working two days per week, you will join a supportive and forward-thinking school that is committed to delivering high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment.
The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons to a Key Stage 2 class, ensuring continuity of learning across the week. Working collaboratively with the wider staff team, you will contribute to planning, assessment, and the overall progress and wellbeing of pupils.
Key Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering creative and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum

Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment

Assessing and monitoring pupil progress

Working closely with colleagues to ensure consistency and support for all learners

Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of all pupils
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
-
Be confident in delivering high-quality lessons across the curriculum

Demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and strong organisational skills

Be committed to supporting pupil achievement and wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
