KS2 teaching opportunity in Soutampton, on a part time basis!
Are you an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher seeking a flexible, part-time opportunity within a supportive school environment?
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming primary school, recently graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted, to recruit a confident and adaptable teacher to provide PPA cover on a part-time basis (2 days per week).
This role is ideal for a skilled practitioner who enjoys the variety of teaching across Key Stage 2 and is looking to maintain a healthy work-life balance, while still making a meaningful impact in the classroom. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, ensuring continuity of learning, and maintaining strong behaviour management across different classes.
The school prides itself on its positive ethos, well-behaved pupils, and collaborative staff team. You will be supported by experienced colleagues and benefit from a well-structured environment where expectations and routines are clearly established.
The ideal candidate will:

Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2

Be confident delivering lessons across a range of year groups

Demonstrate strong behaviour management and adaptability

Be reliable, organised, and able to build rapport quickly

Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
