KS2 Teaching opportunity in Southampton!

A welcoming and well-regarded primary school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from after the Easter break through to the end of the summer term.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated practitioner who is confident in delivering the Key Stage 2 curriculum and is able to take on full classroom responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessment. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive and collaborative staff team, with the added benefit of a Teaching Assistant in class to help facilitate learning and provide targeted support to pupils.

The school is looking for someone who:

  • Has recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2

  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills

  • Is committed to raising attainment and supporting all learners

  • Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff

  • Brings energy, adaptability and a proactive approach to teaching
