Primary Supply Teacher – Flexible Opportunities (KS1 & KS2)
Location: Southampton
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teachers to work on a supply basis across a range of our partner schools in Southampton.
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable classroom experience while enjoying the flexibility to choose when and where they work. We are looking for individuals who are open to a variety of bookings throughout the week, across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
The Role:
As a supply teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher. Roles may vary from day-to-day cover to short-term assignments, offering a diverse and rewarding experience across different school settings.
Key Responsibilities:

Delivering engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2

Managing classroom behaviour effectively
-
Adapting quickly to new school environments and routines

Supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing

Providing feedback to school staff at the end of each day
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT
-
Be confident teaching across primary age ranges
-
Demonstrate flexibility and a positive, proactive attitude
-
Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
-
Be reliable and committed to maintaining high standards

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
