Key Stage 1 Supply Teacher – Flexible Work Available (September Start)
Location: Southampton and surrounding areas
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Flexible Supply
Pay: £130 – £150 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting passionate and adaptable KS1 teachers to work on a day-to-day supply basis across a variety of primary schools in Southampton. This is a fantastic way to remain in the classroom without the demands of planning, assessment, or long-term commitment.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons to KS1 pupils in line with the national curriculum

  • Adapt to different school environments and classroom routines

  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

  • Uphold strong behaviour management and professional standards

  • Provide consistency and support to pupils during staff absences

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and experience teaching in Key Stage 1

  • A flexible and proactive approach to teaching

  • Confidence in delivering pre-set lessons and adapting on the day

  • Good classroom management and communication skills

  • An up-to-date DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
