Job description

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school from January 2027. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who understands that the first years of formal education can make a lasting impact on a child's future.

The Role

As the successful KS1 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons across the KS1 curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Support pupils in developing strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and social skills
  • Assess progress and adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents
  • Foster confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning in young learners

We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A creative and child-centred approach to teaching
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
