Job description

Key Stage 2 Teacher – Year 3 (Long-Term Sickness Cover)
Full Time | Lymington | Spring Term 2 – Potentially Summer Term 1

One of our valued partner schools in Lymington is seeking an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher to provide long-term sickness cover for a Year 3 class. The position will commence in Spring Term 2 and is likely to continue into Summer Term 1.

As fellow education professionals, we appreciate the importance of stability and strong classroom leadership during periods of staff absence. The school is therefore looking for a confident and skilled practitioner who can quickly establish routines, maintain high expectations, and ensure continuity of learning for this Year 3 cohort.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have substantial experience teaching within Key Stage 2

  • Be confident planning, delivering and assessing the Year 3 curriculum

  • Demonstrate secure behaviour management and clear classroom structure

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents

  • Commit to the role on a full-time basis

This is a welcoming and supportive school community, keen to appoint a reflective and reliable educator who understands the academic and pastoral needs of lower Key Stage 2 pupils.

If you are an experienced KS2 teacher seeking a meaningful full-time opportunity for the remainder of the spring term, with the possibility of extending into the summer term, we would be pleased to hear from you.
