Year 3 Teacher – Full Time – Spring Term 2 – Lymington
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic teacher to join one of our welcoming schools in Lymington for a long-term sickness cover during Spring Term 2.
This is a full-time position in a friendly yet lively Year 3 class. The school is keen to appoint either an experienced teacher or a confident Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is ready to embrace the energy and opportunity that Key Stage 2 brings.
The Role

Full planning, preparation and assessment responsibilities

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the National Curriculum

Maintain clear routines and positive behaviour expectations

Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
The class is vibrant and full of personality. They respond well to clear structure, engaging lessons and a teacher who balances warmth with consistency. The successful candidate will feel confident establishing routines quickly and maintaining high expectations from the outset.
Who We’re Looking For

An experienced practitioner or a capable ECT with strong classroom presence

Secure understanding of lower Key Stage 2 curriculum expectations

Calm, organised and proactive in managing behaviour

Committed to inclusive practice and supporting all learners

Able to work collaboratively within an established and supportive staff team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
