Supply Teachers – Launceston, Callington & Tavistock
Full-time, Part-time, Temporary & Permanent Opportunities

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Supply Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in the Launceston, Callington, and Tavistock areas. We have a variety of opportunities available, including day-to-day supply, long-term roles, and permanent positions, with flexible working to suit your availability.

This role is ideal for Fully Qualified Teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and final-year students awaiting QTS.

The Role:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment
  • Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners
  • Following school policies and procedures
  • Providing feedback to staff on pupil progress (for short-term roles)
  • Taking on additional responsibilities such as planning and marking (for long-term roles where required)

Requirements:

  • QTS or working towards QTS (final-year students welcome to apply)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach
  • A passion for teaching and supporting pupil development
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
