Reception Teacher – September Start (London Fringe Pay Scale)
A vibrant and inclusive three-form entry primary school in Crawley, rated Good by Ofsted, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Reception Teacher to join the team from September.
This is a full-time position, paid to scale on the London Fringe, offering an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using data to inform planning and next steps
- Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
- Establish positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events, trips, and extracurricular activities
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and achievement
- Fulfil all professional duties in line with Teachers’ Standards, including safeguarding responsibilities
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within EYFS (desirable but not essential for ECTs)
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- A proactive, reflective, and team-oriented approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
