Primary Class Teacher (KS1/KS2 – SEMH)
Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance
Location: Cambridgeshire
Hours: Full-time, core school hours

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a specialist provision in Cambridgeshire to recruit a passionate and committed Primary Class Teacher (Key Stage 1/2) to join their dedicated team.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons tailored to meet a range of complex needs
  • Support pupils’ academic progress alongside their social and emotional development
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider staff to share best practice
  • Contribute to a personalised curriculum that supports individual learning journeys

The Setting:

This specialist provision supports children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), primarily relating to SEMH needs. The setting offers a nurturing and structured environment where pupil wellbeing is central, alongside a strong focus on progress, engagement, and personal development.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
  • Be confident supporting pupils with additional or complex needs (SEMH experience desirable)
  • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Be flexible, resilient, and committed to making a positive impact
  • Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
