Job description

Supply Teachers Wanted – Poole | September Start

Love teaching, but want more flexibility? We'd love to hear from you.

At Teaching Personnel, we know that no two teachers are the same. Some enjoy the variety that supply teaching brings, while others are looking for regular work without the extra commitments that often come with a permanent role.

We're working with a number of fantastic primary schools across Poole who are looking for reliable, enthusiastic teachers to join them from September. Whether you're available one day a week or looking for something more consistent, we'll take the time to understand what works best for you and match you with schools where you'll feel valued.

Supply teaching is a brilliant way to experience different school environments, build relationships with local schools and enjoy the freedom to achieve a better work-life balance—all while continuing to make a real difference in the classroom.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
  • Creating a positive learning environment where children can thrive.
  • Following lesson plans or using your own initiative when needed.
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
  • Bringing confidence, enthusiasm and consistency into the classroom.

We'd Love to Hear From You If You:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Enjoy working with children and helping them succeed.
  • Are adaptable, reliable and confident in different classroom settings.
  • Have strong classroom management skills.
  • Hold, or are happy to apply for, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

Why Work With Teaching Personnel?

We believe recruitment should be personal. You'll have a dedicated consultant who gets to know you, understands what you're looking for and is there to support you every step of the way. Whether you're after occasional supply work, a long-term placement or something that could become permanent, we'll help you find the right fit.

Alongside competitive weekly pay, you'll also have access to free CPD and opportunities to work in a wide range of supportive local schools.

Location: Poole
Start Date: September
Flexible opportunities available – full-time or part-time

If you're ready for a role that works around your life while allowing you to continue doing what you love, we'd love to chat.
