Teaching Personnel are currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers to work across a range of schools in Barnsley. The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, supporting pupils' progress and creating a positive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for teachers who have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for supporting children's learning and development
  • A flexible, reliable and professional approach

ECTs are encouraged to apply, with opportunities available to gain experience across different schools or secure longer-term and permanent positions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
