Are you seeking teaching work within the Wakefield area?

We are currently recruiting for a Supply Teacher to work in some of our local Primary schools in the Wakefield area to maintain our increasing need to cover on a day-today basis. The successful candidate start date will be as soon as the children return to school. We are looking to appoint a Supply Teacher with experience of teaching from Early Years to KS2.

The successful candidate will be required to work 8.30am until 3.30pm on a part-time or full-time basis.

The ideal Supply Teacher applicant will:

  • Have UK QTS or the overseas equivalent and are confident with working in EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
  • Be able to work from 1-5 days per week (flexible)
  • Have a clear knowledge and understanding of National Curriculum across all the Primary sector
  • Are committed, professional and are good communicators with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to take on a challenge teaching new students and enhancing their learning experience
  • Be approachable, engaging and encouraging to strengthen relationships with staff and students
  • Ensuring all safety regulations are adhered to

  • Newly-qualified teacher’s (NQT), looking to gain experience in multiple schools
  • Experienced Cover Supervisors
  • Fully-Qualified Teacher’s (FQT) ,looking for a new challenge or just simply looking for casual ad-hoc
  • Overseas Trained Teacher’s (OTT), with some experience of teaching in the UK
