Primary Supply Teacher - Plymouth
Start Date: Immediate and Ongoing
Are you a qualified Primary Teacher looking for greater flexibility or your next teaching opportunity? Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of primary schools across Plymouth and the surrounding areas, offering a range of supply teaching opportunities to suit your needs.
Whether you're an experienced teacher, an ECT looking to build classroom experience, or returning to education after a break, we have opportunities available in welcoming and supportive school settings.
Pay
£125 - £145 per day For day-to-day supply assignments. Rates are dependent on experience and qualifications.
Long-term teaching positions are paid in line with the relevant teaching pay scale and responsibilities of the role.
The Role
- Deliver engaging lessons across the primary age range
- Follow school planning and policies where required
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Support pupils' academic progress and wellbeing
- Adapt confidently to different classrooms and school settings
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A flexible and professional approach
- A genuine enthusiasm for primary education
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Essential Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
- Suitable references covering recent employment history
