Supply Teacher

Location: Okehampton, Devon
Pay: £120–£150 per day
Contract: Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP (flexible start options available)

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to support a variety of partner schools in Okehampton and the surrounding areas. With established partnerships across local schools and trusts, we offer a wide range of opportunities to suit your availability and preferences.

This role is ideal for teachers seeking flexible work—whether you’re looking for occasional day-to-day cover or more consistent, long-term placements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2
  • Provide support to a range of schools within the local area
  • Adapt confidently to different classroom settings and school environments
  • Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning atmosphere

We’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Confidence teaching across primary age groups (EYFS, KS1, KS2)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A flexible, proactive, and dependable approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting pupil progress and development
