The Role

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments and routines.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the school or confidently deliver your own where required (with advance notice).
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Support pupils to achieve their full potential while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching within UK primary schools.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A flexible and positive approach to teaching.
  • A sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • The ability to commute reliably to schools across Coventry and surrounding areas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
