What You’ll Do

  • Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of your students.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment where pupils feel supported and motivated.
  • Use adaptive teaching strategies to reach diverse learners, including those with SEMH/SEN needs.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families, promoting wellbeing and progress.
  • Track and celebrate academic, social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a positive school culture and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS or ECT status
  • Strong communication, organisation, and classroom‑management skills
  • A child‑centred, compassionate approach to teaching
  • Experience in SEN/SEMH settings is beneficial but not essential
  • Willingness to adapt lesson delivery to meet a wide range of learner needs
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
