We are currently recruiting committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Bedford. These schools are dedicated to creating inclusive environments where every child feels supported, challenged, and inspired to achieve their best.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
-
Deliver 1:1 support or lead small group interventions
-
Assist children with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs
-
Work alongside the class teacher to support lesson delivery
-
Help manage classroom behaviour positively and effectively
-
Contribute to a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment
This role is ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates considering teacher training, or individuals with childcare, youth work, or care experience.
We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children (school-based or similar setting)
-
A patient, proactive, and flexible approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
A genuine passion for education and child development
-
Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (desirable but not essential)

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
