Qualified Teachers (QTS) Required – Daily Supply & Long-Term Opportunities

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting passionate and experienced Qualified Teachers (QTS) to support our partner primary and secondary schools through a mixture of daily supply, short-term cover, and long-term teaching opportunities.

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable teachers who can confidently deliver engaging lessons, maintain high standards of classroom management, and positively impact pupil progress. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of teaching within UK schools and a commitment to supporting pupils' academic and personal development.

Our schools regularly use supply staff as a pathway to permanent recruitment, meaning many long-term assignments can progress into permanent contracts for the right teacher.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Minimum 1 year of teaching experience within UK schools
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching across different school settings
  • An Enhanced Child-Only DBS Certificate is preferred, although Teaching Personnel can support successful applicants with a DBS application if required
