Primary School Teacher (Part-Time)
Location: Burnley
Hours: Part-time (e.g. 2–3 days per week)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Temporary, 1 year contract.
About the Role
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Burnley is seeking a passionate and committed part-time teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to contribute to a supportive school environment while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
The role may involve teaching within EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (depending on experience and school needs), delivering engaging lessons that inspire and motivate pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Uphold the school’s values and behaviour expectations
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in a UK primary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for inspiring young learners
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility and a proactive approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
