Contract: Full-time, until the Summer holidays
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience (MPS/UPS)

About the Role

A friendly and supportive primary school in Sandbach is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from Monday 13th April through to the end of the academic year. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and assess work to meet the needs of all learners.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and senior leaders.
• Maintain strong communication with parents and carers regarding pupil progress.
• Uphold the school’s safeguarding, behaviour, and pastoral care policies.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school where required (e.g. assemblies, clubs, events).

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Ability to differentiate learning to support a range of abilities.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Reliable, organised, and committed to delivering high‑quality learning.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
