Position: Key Stage 2 (KS2) Primary School Teacher
Location: Sandbach, Cheshire
Start Date: Monday 13th April 2026
Contract: Full-time, until the Summer holidays
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience (MPS/UPS)
About the Role
A friendly and supportive primary school in Sandbach is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from Monday 13th April through to the end of the academic year. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
- Plan, prepare, and assess work to meet the needs of all learners.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and senior leaders.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and carers regarding pupil progress.
- Uphold the school’s safeguarding, behaviour, and pastoral care policies.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school where required (e.g. assemblies, clubs, events).
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Ability to differentiate learning to support a range of abilities.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Reliable, organised, and committed to delivering high‑quality learning.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
