PPA Class Teacher – Full Time
Location: Preston
Start Date: January 2026
Closing Date: 28th November 2025
Interviews: Week commencing 1st December 2025

 

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable PPA Class Teacher to join our friendly, mainstream one-form-entry primary school in Preston from January 2026. This is a full-time position, providing high-quality teaching across Y2–Y5 during the mornings, and working with Year 6 in the afternoons.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys variety in their teaching and is confident working with different year groups and teaching teams.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

  • Have experience of teaching across the primary age range, with strong knowledge of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curricula.

  • Be flexible, proactive, and able to adapt their teaching to suit different classes and learning needs.

  • Work effectively with a range of class teachers to ensure continuity and high standards of teaching and learning.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with pupils and staff alike.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
